Apart from the mess on with the Riley incident, I thought he wasn't bad yesterday. He penalised a lot of the lying on at the tackle and got very little support from the touch judges. One advantage of a French referee against a french team is that he can penalise if he hears them swearing in their own language, which happened yesterday. At least he persisted with the penalties for lying on, unlike Ian Smith on Friday, who gave up after 15 minutes.
