Bazj Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Well clear cut or not, that is what I was told when my mum had her stroke and they didn't think she would pull through. They put her down as not for resuss without consulting me. The first I knew about it was when they told me that was their decision. She was 86, had a stroke, heart attack and was hypothermic when I found her.... so I guess the "she might not pull through" bit was a good guess! Increasingly these days the 'sanctity of life' is weighed against the cost effectiveness of treatment. Thought that Shipman was dead.
