KeithR
Which team had the best support 2006-07? :thinker: In terms of attendance compared to ground capacity Portsmouth came top with 100% for the season. United only came 4th with 99.77%, Chelsea 8th with 97.88%, Poo a poor 11th with 95.95% and bottom of the pile Blackburn with 67.82%
AdrianR
Doesnt that depend on the amount of away support as well? I could imagine Portsmouth at home for Man U on a Saturday would be busier that the same on a Wednesday in January/May.
trojan
I've seen the tables and it's based on home attendances. Portsmouth fans along with any away support filled Portsmouth's ground for every league match last year ie 19,860 maximum attendance at every match. United on average only had 99.77% occupancy ie 75,826 out of 76,000.
Eagle
And I don't believe for one minute that every seat was filled for every game.
DavyG
So if Anfailed is on average only 95% full, what's all this nonsense about not being able to get a ticket?
Eddie
My next door neighbour is an ardent Poo supporter, goes to all home matches and normally buys his ticket on the day. Only failed twice to get in.....against United and Everton.
