Gary
Perhaps you should be posting the information in the food and drink guide! http://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/articles/6768/1/Lymm-Hotel/Page1.html
observer
Does that include free medical cover for the obesity and heart attack?!
LymmParent
You don't have to eat the two meals yourself Obs. You can take Mrs Obs out. Ooooh, I think Ob's has had a funny turn......
observer
I take Mrs Obs out for meal every week, to give her a rest from my cooking - but I'm not sure I would want to inflict a Big Mac on her!

LymmParent
MacDonald Hotels is a completely separate entity to McDonald's the burger chain, isn't it? They're not spelled the same.....
byrdy
Shocked to hear about the Rams Head and Little Manor closing... Â The Rams Head isn't closing, still open for business.
Dizzy
Don't do spelling stuff on a Sunday night so just go on what I read on here.. and people were talking about burgers and similar stuff  So who is the 'different spelling' hotel chain then.. never heard of them and are they 'local'............. Edward... EDWARD !!!!!
LymmParent
I think I'm right in saying they are a British company, originally (and possilby still for all I know) owned/run by a Mr MacDonald and the company runs Hotels all over the UK. I only know because the Lymm Hotel is (well, was last time I was there) a MacDonald, as is Portal Golf Club (ditto). Better double check me before you roll up in Lymm for a free steak though!! Evil Sid
they are a lot more expensive too. have you seen the price of a meal from the a la carte menu. Â don't spend that much on food in a fortnight let alone one meal
Gary
Shocked to hear about the Rams Head and Little Manor closing... Â The Rams Head isn't closing, still open for business. Â The company which ran both pubs has gone into administration. The Little Manor has closed while the Rams Head is still trading.
LymmParent
they are a lot more expensive too.have you seen the price of a meal from the a la carte menu.  don't spend that much on food in a fortnight let alone one meal  I hadn't, but I have now. Cheapest three courses ?21.40, dearest three ?32.85. Certainly more expensive than a McDriveThru, but not ruinous for a special night out. Same sort of price as a theatre ticket or a premier league match ticket.
Dizzy
So the original post for the 2 for 1 vouchers means it is obviously worthwhile using then Not bad at half price for two
LymmParent
It was a very nice meal last time I was there, although that is a while ago now. At 2 for one, it seems a good deal to me if you fancy a bit of fancy! Depends what you spend on drinks, I guess.

Eagle
The prices quoted are about right for a proper meal out.
