James P
Yep dead right obs. Cutting the real fans out of the game and making a mockery out of the competition.
asperity
Just another ruse by the FA to get even richer by exploiting the cash cow to its limits. So much for the cries of the clubs about too many games being played
JayC
Asp. The cries of the clubs , I can just imagine Ferguson at the end of this season when they are pipped the top spot by Arsenal complaining about the amount of games they have to play each season , but yet we have MU starting the trend by playing a number of games in the Middle East this year, The clubs are getting greedy as are the FA and I cannot see one genuine supporter agreeing with MU or the FA. bobshaw235
maybe its the only way some clubs and their fans will ever get into Europe?
Eagle
There are no extra games involved just a few 'on the road' games. It is a cr^p idea, I wonder if season ticket prices will go down to cover the lost games.

John JayC - MU are one of only 5 clubs that have not come out and supported this proposal, the others being Newcastle, West Ham, Aston Villa and Blackburn. Eagle
It seems I was wrong, there will be one extra game played in five major cities at different kick off times so that they can be seen live on TV over here. 'major' means those who come up with the readies and 'TV' means subscription channels.
AdrianR
Worst thing is that the big clubs will be seeded. However Querios (as fergie wont speak to BBC) was sayign the defeat was due to international fixtures and players beign tired i.e. they werent earning money for the club. AdrianR
Seems we have a no from the US, A no from Asia and a No from Australia. The middle East apparently are keen (Doha, Dubai and Riyadh). Troops out there will eb happy. However do the EPL think they'll just cream off all the money from such fixtures. Likley to be a large pay off needed. The ?5m per club doesnt look that good in such light.
