An analogy is a parallel example to make a point. He simply said that I would post in the defence of the actions he was criticising. He admits that he just assumed that was the case. There is nothing to argue about. Here's an analogy for you. Poster A just decides to post that Poster B would fight for the right of paedophiles to have access to child porn in jail. Poster B hasn't said a word, but actually thinks that child molesters are the scum of the earth. Now, does Poster B have the right to object to everyone reading that he's the kiddie fiddlers' best friend? Is Poster A within the llmits of common decency, never mind Forum rules or libel laws? Serious subjects attract diametrically opposite views and occasionally they include the odd insult, the odd misquote, misinterpretation, but so what. Anyone who isn't happy should find another forum rather than try to water this one down to suit the thin skinned.
