You'd be better to post up a map of the town with a grid box on it and that way people could just tick the appropriate box. As it stands at the moment you have some huge areas not mentioned and you'd need at least 40 tick boxes to do it this way!

 

I can make you a map with some basic area outlines with numbers on similar to this outline map and email it to you if your interested.

I live in Paddington and it's not on.

Before that I lived in Woolston and that's not on.

I was brought up in Orford and that's not on either.

So all the places I've ever lived aren?t on hence I can't vote.

 

As for the place names, they're just arbitrary taxi zones and the descriptions had to be squidged down a bit to make them fit on the equipment screens.

 

I post during the day just a few feet from CAR PARK but as it's only about one pixel big, don't try looking for it on the map. (If you do, I'll give you a clue, it's bright green)

Yeah, seemed a bit obvious. But if people don't put it on when joining, they probably won't vote on this one. It just seems that it would be quicker to find out by scanning the member profiles.

Yes, but Gary was wondering where we came from in general, so it would have been easier to have a quick squint than to wait for a week and have just thirty responses from the usual suspects. That would probably give you a better picture than the 30 or so anonymous votes this will get. That's all. It was a comment made on the assumption that you were actually interested in the data, and it was a comment made in the interests of you getting at the data faster, because I thought you might be looking for a reason - like targeting advertisers. Your appreciation makes it all worthwhile.
