Obviously it's going to cost a lot more to transport ONE container from Warrington to London than from a UK port to a Chinese port because it would have to go by road transport, on its own. Container ships don't carry just ONE container, they carry thousands of them and hence the unit cost drops dramatically. Understand now or do I have to explain again in words of one syllable? :(

A recent report I read said that, due to the market collapse, some slots for containers on the UK/Far East trade are going for next to nothing just to fill the ships. :shock::shock:
