observer
3-D, 50% special effects, but no story - will you bovver to go see it?
LymmParent
Probably not, but only because it's not my idea of fun watching a film with 500 strangers in the dark. It looks amazing on the trailers, and well worth the price of a ticket. Lack of plot isn't a problem really - look at Titanic, and everyone knew the ending! Jerry
I've heard the story is about an advanced civilization seeking raw materials and chemicals on an non-technical planet called Pandora to the dismay of the natives. Supposed to be a bit of romance also. How many stories are there -- I mean how many plots are there really? Less than 10? Boy meets girl, loses, girl etc. Fish out of water. Deserving, struggling poor chap gets lucky. That's the first 3, eh?
observer
Think the story line is based on Pochahontas. Fraid sci-fi and fantasy are too surreal for me, prefer accurate histories or a thriller with a believable plot.
