observer
They've no where else to go - or at least don't think they have. Watched Tony Robinson again tonight - interesting historical points on "adaptation" to climate changes: the Mayan civilisation perished due to a hundred years of drought; whereas further north the Pueblo Indian civilisation similarly based on agriculture; decided to move and returned to a hunter gathering life style in order to survive. Likewise, in Greenland in the middle ages; a mini-ice age destroyed the Norse farming communities who refused to change their lifestyles, while the Innuit population modified their hunter gatherer existence and did survive.
