asperity
Apparently not everyone is being as careful as they should; http://tinyurl.com/9f5v5y I would think thrice before having a flu vaccination I didn't really need

Egbert
Had mine over a week ago and have, so far, suffered no ill effects. However, this is the ordinary flu jab, not the swine flu to which I am not, apparently, entitled at present
LymmParent
Swine flu vaccine is only just available. GPS are to get 500 doses for their patients, and where a practice has more than 500 patients, there is a priority order to protect those most at risk - chest problems etc. More will be along later, Egbert. If it's any comfort, we had it and it's not nice, but I have had far worse.
asperity
Was it Swine Flu LP? Were you tested for it? Just curious.
Mary
If you made it through the epidemic of the early 1970's then chances are you are immune to the sine flu. I got it back then and survived - was pretty awful. If I get it again - I do, cause I am sure I will not be getting the vaccine.

LymmParent
Was it Swine Flu LP? Were you tested for it? Just curious. Nephew and sister were first, and because of his age they got tested and had Tamiflu issued. Rest of us saw what that did for them and opted out. observer
What did it "do for them"? Notice, they're now saying that if you've had a dose of seasonal flu previously, it helps your resistance to swine flu - do they really know what they're on about?
