observer
It's predicted that after next year's election, there will be the biggest turn-over of MPs since 1945 -but will it change for the better? With Dave recruiting more dolly birds and all the main parties taking on young careerists that have never seen the outside of a University; we may get less sleaze, but will we get any with life experience who may resist being forced through the lobbies by the party whips? We've had four wars under Bliar, and not one of his cabinet members had ever worn the Queen's uniform. So will we see more Stepford MPs filing through the voting lobbies like robots, engaging in ever more trivial legislation, while the fundemental decisions are being made in Brussels? Paul Kennedy
With Dave recruiting more dolly birds And here they are: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1222796/Camerons-cuties-The-80-women-likely-MPs-Tories-new-female-friendly-party.html Not so sure about your definition though Observer...nor indeed the Mail's
observer
Very PC Paul; they've even included 3 blacks and 1 asian, clearly some obese fillies too, and no doubt there will have to be the requisite proportion of lesbians - but your right about the "dolly" bit! So I guess we can look forward to a continuation of the superficial.
Lt Kije
Obs you seem to have lost all faith in Democracy, why don't you go and live in a dictatorship I pay for your flight, who knows you may come back a liberal and thanking God for Human Rights Legislation
observer
Nope - just lost faith in mediocrity - which now seems the order of things.
