observer
The Legg audit of MPs expenses appears to deal only with one aspect of their expenses, although why they were even awarded payments for gardening and cleaning in the first place is beyond me; but the issue of profiteering from second home sales and flipping claims to pay-off the most expensive mortgages, doesn't appear to be within the Legg remit. Is it not the case, that MPs are merely trying to plaster over the cracks, rather than engage in a root and branch reform with the employment of standards that we, in the real world, could live with?
