Geoffrey Settle
At last North West Tonight featured Warrington's success and celebrations with an interview with Lee Briers and Adrian Morley last night. Gordon Burns was even suggesting that there was more to come he'll be sitting in the stands soon at this rate, especially as the Old Trafford cricket pitch is unplayable. reader
I too have been waiting for some TV coverage from both the BBC and Granada, they are quick enough to report IOM issues (do they pay a uk tv licence??) or over a week talk rubbish about the presenters on line newsletter. Both are quick enough report if the manager of the round ball game gets a speeding ticket or something I think the coverage given was pathetic
indy
well here at warrington.tv we aim to get our films online by the following morning and in some cases we get them online same day ...
safeway56
Monday was a Bank Holiday so as usual local news on TV was much restricted. Morley and Briers were interviewed both on ITV and BBC last night. So, as usual the old curmudgeons got it wrong in posting that the Wembley victory was so insignificant local TV couldn't be bothered to make it a feature. reader
Read, safeway56 before writing The BBC did not give adequate cover if this had been Liverpool or MU managers arguing the toss they would have got more time, Those who couldnt get to see the team and dont have the benefit off seeing photo's on w-w may have liked to have seen the welcome both in town and at the ground instead of a few seconds at the ground

Peter T
Perhaps the Beeb and ITV were too shocked at warrington winning something, that they were caught by surprise.Monaghan was on last night and didn't come across as TV fodder. safeway56
Does anybody know where it would be possible to have a butchers at Monaghan being interviewed on Ozzie TV ? If he sounds as miserable on there then we'll know that's just the way he is. From what I've seen and heard of him over here he sounds as if he's about to burst into tears and hot-foot it to Manchester Airport.
