observer
Seems new research has cited "boredom" as the main reason why teenagers are turning to drink and anti-social behaviour - wow; how much do they get paid for these insights into the glaringly obvious?! So, perhaps posters could come up with a list of constructive suggestions on "things for them to do"?
Paul Kennedy
Lots of things, many for free, on the following websites: http://www.fitkidzwarrington.com/splash http://www.warrington.gov.uk/summerfun/ In the case of my 18 year old who will be going to Bristol Uni at the end of September I told him to get a job, and great credit to him...... he has, a month's work sorting and counting components in a local warehouse in preparation for their annual stocktaking. observer
Might be preferable IF these kids actually started playing a sport, rather than just watching - yer never know, we could find some champs among them!
Bazj
getting up would have been a start with my son!
Gary
Might be preferable IF these kids actually started playing a sport, rather than just watching - yer never know, we could find some champs among them! We have plenty of kids playing at Warrington Town - and the ones who come and watch have a kick around on the grassed area behind the goals so get plenty of exercise. observer
Is it printed in Urdu, Arabic, and Chinese too: and of course Polish?!

Can't the whole bloody lot of them realise the amount of waste that goes on? They don't need auditors and expensive accountants to work that out. Give me a few quid an hour and I'll save them millions in a metter of weeks!!
observer
Perhaps they just need a Mayor, with an accountancy background? Will Paul step up to the plate?!

Thanks Paul... never new about the summer fun leaflets for kids. Were they distributed Sadly after looking though the info there's not much for 14+ year olds especially round this neck of the woods. My 15 year old is bored stiff during the day although nights are ok as he has a job too
