Bill Posted June 28, 2009 Report Share Posted June 28, 2009 The upset caused by something like a burglary can?t ever be put right but to my way of thinking, a cheque in the post for those directly affected might be more appropriate than the knowledge that some committee decided what to do with the proceeds of your misfortune. Doesn?t exactly solve any problems but at least you?d get the feeling that the criminals had to some extent had been made to pay you back.
