observer
Seems the relations of two convicted gangsters in Manchester, are to seek compensation for their human rights being infringed by a GMP poster showing the two gangsters, in an effort to deter others. Bazj
.and no doubt they will end up with bucket loads of taxpayers cash; probably far more than we would give to say an injured soldier for combat injuries.... You really can't make these stories up! This was all because the poster showed how the two convicted scum bags were made to look older on the poster to show how they would look by the time they were released! Peter T
I can't see the problem. Everyone who knows the families will know these guys are crooks anyway.
Paul Kennedy
You really can't make these stories up! You can't Baz, just shows how daft our system is. Given that the country is skint why are they just told there is no money for any payouts. Sorted. Bet you their victims didn't get compensation. observer
Believe this one is going to court, so no doubt will finish up at the European Court of Human Rights - wonder if these relatives will be doing it all on legal aid?! Evil Sid
if they get compensation for infringement of their human rights then i have an idea. i should put in a claim that my human rights have been infringed by paying money out to known criminals. if everybody did this then maybe something would be done to prevent such idiocies. mind you i am surprised that they have not done this before saying that arresting them and putting them in jail infringes their human rights. observer
Sid, this isn't the two convicted gang members; but their "innocent" families, who probably need a good compen claim now the bread-winners are in nick!

observer
Perhaps if you got a Rumanian passport Sid, life may be easier - but not in Ulster alas!
