asperity
To be the subject of a news item in the Daily Star http://tinyurl.com/p5tqxb Of course there is the small matter of his pet solar power station to consider as well
observer
According to the Met Office; we're in for a dry, sunny summer - which will no doubt include a drought panic! Mind you, they havn't had it right for the last two years, when we had floods.
Peter T
Not one to hijack a thread, but I notice that Wally reservoir is going down despite all the rain we have had.
wolfie
What rain would that be Peter? According to the Met office, and who am I to argue Overall, April was warmer, drier and sunnier than average. Provisionally it equals the third warmest April in a series from 1914,
Dizzy
Must admit I've not noticed that much rain either other than last Friday nights short sharp downpour. Where do you live Peter

Provisionally it equals the third warmest April in a series from 1914, I guess it must be localised flooding along the side of the Mersey. Although I am dubious as to whether the water would rise 30 feet. The Met office can't even get the weather right, so I am suspicious of any stats that they put out.
