After the latest revelation that Geoff Hoon has been claiming allowances for his constituency home, renting out his home in London (obviously for personal gain) as well as living in a grace and favour home in London paid for by the taxpayer..... once again we here the old "I haven't broken any rules!!"

Just what does it take to break a rule when it comes to MP's expenses?

They wrote "the rules" Baz, which were designed to allow a horse and cart through. However the "court of public opinion" believes them to be immoral; but will still vote for the same rats at the elections, thus reinforcing MPs arragance and contempt for the public they purport to represent. PS: Believe MEPs have recently voted to keep their expenses secret!:twisted:

I think the UK Conservative ones have been told that they have to make them public....and so they should.......bet you they will be popular with the other MEPs.

PS You get to vote for them on June 4th....it is a list system so it will be a ballot paper listing parties and independents...think there were 12 to choose from last time....with 62,000 Warrington voters voting last time...out of about 150,000.
