demelzadoe
The only thing he is sorry for is that the whole world still thinks that Tony Blair is the Prime Minister of Great Britain. I just wish I could find the link ...... So frustrating.
Paul Kennedy
Geoff Randall in the Telegraph: Q: What's the difference between Bernard Madoff and Gordon Brown? A: One has drained fortunes from gullible victims, plundering their income and savings to create an illusion of prosperity. The other is going to jail. observer
Notice Dave Comeron has "apologised" - what's this apologising buisiness anyway - doesn't make everything better?!

Paul Kennedy
Indeed. I'm not interested in meaningless apologies....everybody seems to be apologising for everything....talk is cheap and nothing gets done. In terms of politics...all that Mr Brown has to say is, that he is calling a General Election. And if the people decide that they want a change then we will see if another Government can get things sorted....or at least make a start. wolfie
If we were to call a General Election everytime a government got it wrong we would have to change the door on No 10 for a revolving one
observer
Just a change from one lot of greedy, self seeking, clueless backbenchers, for another; the front benches swop sides of the chamber, and trapped in the Brussels straight jacket, carry on with roughly the same complete lack of conviction or vision until the "next" election!
