Geoffrey Settle
He looked pretty content tonight on 'Boots and All', in fact it looked like an acceptance speech. He was however reminded about his Sky commitments for the rest of the season.
Davy51
Seems strange that Steve McCormack has been axed after only one game ,he hasn't done that much wrong...after all but for the politics of RL Widnes would have deservedly been a SL club this season. A club with the mantra of "Cup Kings" cannot be overlooked for the sake of an experiment & imo the RL has lost a lot of credibility with this decision. wolfie
Just watched Whitehaven 26v22 Widnes. What a shambles. Whitehaven with 6 first teamers out and just come back from France made Cullens Widnes look like part timers.
Woody
Ha Ha, Warringtonian agent Cullen on a mission to send Widnes down. Well done Paul
wolfie
Northern Rail Cup Final Cullens first trophy as a coach  I just hope the members of the RL Association that voted Celtic Crusaders a Super League franchise were watching today. 2 sides with a great Rugby League history playing in a cracking final.  The passion and commitment from both sides was a pleasure to watch. The support of both sets of fans was tremendous. Compare that with South Wales and France.
KeithR
I was in Blackpool for the weekend and I went to the final. You are correct wolfie, it was a superb game, 3 full scale scraps, 2 sin bins and 2 teams giving it everything. Just what Rugby League is all about
