harry hayes
Noticed in the Guardian that Billy Kindon had died, aged 80. A local lad who made good at Leigh. So fast at the Boteler grammar school, they named a trophy after him. He was virtually as quick as BB himself and was often given the job of marking the great man. Would have loved to see him in a better team. Leigh club describe him as a legend. Scored 149 tries. Happy days
