Seems the neo-liberal concept of being an independent female, with a career AND babies, just ain't working in the best interests of the children. Errm, well, we could have told them that for nothing! It might help if our tax/benefits system rewarded "mums" who actually raise their own kids, and encouraged mum and dad to stay together, making an idylic family enviroment for little jonny and jane to grow up in.
