observer
No, not mixed gender wards in the NHS; but the situation whereby a wounded British soldier could wake up in a hospital bed, to find himself next to a Taliban fanantic - doesn't seem right somehow? Surely they can provide seperate ward/tents?
Bazj
It happened in the first Gulf War. My brother in law was a medic in 22 field hospital on the front line and they were treating more Iraquis than our own troops. Personally I'd have put a bullet through them and saved some UK taxpayers money; but I guess that's my compasionate nature showing through again!
