observer
Seems the compiling of DNA data of those arrested, but not charged, has been ruled illegal by a European Court as being a disproportionate invasion of privacy - good or bad judgement? And will the Police wipe off all the iinocent folk from their data base, or put them onto another (secret) list?!

Paul Kennedy
And will the Police wipe off all the iinocent folk from their data base, or put them onto another (secret) list?! Oh yes. The two chaps who took it to the ECJ were told by the police that their DNA etc was being kept....to help in future investigations, oh ay.
