PS. talking of beef Wellington; excuse my ignorance, but can someone help with the puff pastry please (how it's made) - I might have a go at that one - not sure about the truffles though?! :roll::wink:


Puff pastry is a really arduous process and you end up with butter everywhere. I only made it once and since then I just buy the frozen premade stuff. It is fine and you never seem to see chefs making their own on T.V. or in books etc. they always seem to recommend the frozen. Beef wellington is a lovely meal though, one of my faves.
