Gary
A great opportunity to see how the new line up competes against a full time professional team from two divisions above us. Admission ?4 adults ?2 concessions.
Woody
Thanks for posting this, but would you consider posting this on the Leigh Genesis site, to save any moaning on Saturday from the bleeting Leythers Woody

Blimey Gary - Big up the Leigh or what? Don't they play in UniBond Prem? Are they really full time?
Gary
They do now - but last season they were two divisions above us but got relegated after going into admin - but have now gone full-time with a big backer!
Gary
Town 2 Leigh 3 - good crowd, plenty of away support and not bad against the full time pros! Sold a couple of season tickets as well!
Peter T
I'm surprised you didn't say at the end of your post "Could do better". Considering that Town had 4 players absent, they held their own apart from a spell in the first half where they made a couple of schoolboy errors and allowed Leigh to score. I look forward to a good, positive and successful season. I also believe that they have started playing "thinking" football, as opposed to kick and run. JayC
Gary, Peter. I am back in the UK so I will be making the home games come the end of August (daughters wedding and our Holiday get in the way of the start of the season). See you both at the bar (end of Aug).
