Jerry
As I mentioned -- I got over to Captain Chaos' blog and reviewed gold old grinnin' gruntin' Gunga Din -- and other terrific Kipling bon mots. However I also discovered a treasure trove called The War Poets, about World War I, and I notice Rupert Brooke's lines (expired 1915), hailed by Joyce Kilmer (expired 1917) and other poets who actually died on front lines by enemy actions. We sent POETS to war also, not just warriors, huh? Robert Service has been one of my idols -- The Cremation of Sam McGee for example and his tales from the Klondike. Seems he was in the Big War as well. This blog is a terrific educational device, thanks Gary.
