Warrington ended a poor run of results away to Wigan with a strong performance ending 14-40 in Wire's favour, making 6 wins in a row in Superleague. Jake Mamo was undoubtably MoM with a hat-trick of tries, all from interceptions he made, but it was an all round fine performance that inflicted a 4th loss in a row on Wigan.

Mamo hinted post match that his future had been decided,

Well whatever it is he looked happy enough.

Great victory and I thought both youngsters were superb and hopefully will get more opportunities once Powell is at the helm.

Always good to thrash Wigan although the commentators were falling over themselves with excuses for them!!

Most of the Wigan team were under 12s and the senior players were all either injured or recovering from an injury and had dragged themselves from their death beds, or so Sky would have us believe 🤣.

I have to wonder who Warrington have upset in the past to get all the common-taters against them, even the bee bee cee ones relish any error and harp on about for half the match, any good comments uttered grudgingly and with caveats that it was probably a fluke or a bit of luck.
