observer Posted May 7, 2008 Report Share Posted May 7, 2008 While UK Councils get taxed by the EU for excess landfill, and Councils are reduced to fining folk for having their bin lid open by 4"; the EU has finally got round to taking legal action against the Italian Government, cos of the situation in Naples, where waste has been collecting in the street since Christmas (phew!).
