Bill
A video clip appeared on Facebook the other day showing a huge barge being pushed and pulled into Latchford locks by two tugboats. On the barge there were two ginormous boxes and this sparked a whole raft of guesses as to just what was being transported. The best of these was that it was an Amazon delivery and that each crate contained one shoe. Made me laugh anyway. Bill 😊
Latchford Locks
Is it something to do with the new turbo machine being built on Woolston weir ?
Bill
Close but not quite close enough as they say. Apparently two large 72 tonne bullshit pumps destined for Texas. Amazing what you can order on Amazon these days Bill

Bill British technology must be well respected over the pond to get items like that sold in what is largely a protectionist nation where imports are concerned
