asperity
Super League is coming back in August, with all games being played behind closed doors. The season looks like it will finish in November with next season's start being delayed until March.

asperity
First game back for the Wire yesterday against HKR. After Wire, as is their custom, allowed Hull to score the first try in the first minute (Hull tried a short kick off tactic, that they used a few times during the game), the game settled down to a competition to see who could make the fewer errors. After 20 minutes, however, Wire settled down and took control going in at half time leading 12-4. The second half was all Wire with them running in a further 5 tries, Hull only managing one late consolation converted try. Final score 40-10 to Warrington. Both sides looked understandably rusty after the long lay off. HKR look to be in deep mire at the bottom of the table, having only managed 2 points from their 7 games so far.
