Well, not surprisingly, the BBC are well on board with this woke entitlement fest -  they are now to spend £thousands on a campaign to recruit up to 20% of their staff from BAME groups. No mention of whether appropriate  qualifications will be required, seems the main criteria will be skin colour.  Looking at the News service, I would have thought they were there already.   Time the BBC was defunded methinks.     😠

I wrote an email to the FA asking why they were using a domestic terrorist mob as their anti racism bannerhead and why they had not researched it first.  You wouldn't believe the diatribe of liberal garbage that I got back from some woman official in "Fan Support". It was threequarters of a screen long and you could tell that she was convinced that the world was locked into 1960 America and apartheid (?') in Africa and that every black person was in danger of being shot if they stuck their head out of the door.  I had pointed out that someone had proposed the better slogan to BLM when they first emerged, would be that all lives matter, but they had immediately condemned it as racist and  organized a riot against it - they don't want anyone else to share their power grab.

The idiot wanted to know why I was trying to spoil this wonderful thing that they were doing along with 68 other countries !

All I know is that it is ruining even more the empty stadium games, everytime I see the slogan on the shirts, my heart sinks and a black cloud of despair for the world passes over me.  I now only watch the United games, they can stick the rest.  

I have to believe that mine must not have been the only email, cos the reply must have taken more time than they would have invested to reply just to me.

I did consider sending an email like you Stallard, but then realised (correctly it seems) that it would be a futile gesture. All these people are virtue signalling in the vain hope that when the merde hits the whirly thing the alligator will eat them last.

Gets dafter by the day, seems they are considering changing the name of Fort Bragg, because Braxton Bragg was a slave owner.  Looks like they'll have to change the name of their capital city then, as Washington was a slave owner too.

Looks like some more of our national heroes will have to forfeit their place in history - Francis Drake and John Hawkings heroes of the fight to save England from the Spanish Armada; were involved in the earliest slave trading,  financed by Elizabeth I; so I guess the "Virgin Queen" will lose her place in history too.

Lo & behold, 2 BLM t shirt wearing young ladies surfaced on Countryfile tonight extolling the virtues of their cause.

Also ,a black gentleman bemoaning the fact that BAME people feel cut off from society in general in matters such as socialising & visiting public places. This disconnection can only be self imposed ; unlike America we have never had signs proclaiming an apartheid system in operation.

I watched that Dave,  finished up swearing at the TV -  two of our BAME  mates, bemoaning their lack of access to the countryside, as if (like everything else), it was the fault of the whites.  If they want to venture into the countryside, instead of rioting in the inner city, no one's stopping them - so self inflicted exclusion, to blame whitey for.             As for the US,  even Abe is out of favour now,  they're after one of his statues in Washington,  the guy who freed them from slavery. As for the Dems, I believe they originated in Dixie, and seem to have forgotten their roots. 😠

The Democrats haven't forgotten their roots, they're just desperately trying to stop anyone else remembering them - the party of slavery, the party that wants to keep the underclasses beholden to the welfare state much the same as the Labour party in the UK.

Actually, the statue thing has changed, now it's just a matter of wanton destruction.   The majority of people vandalizing the statues are white idiots, possibly liberals, but more likely bog standard yobs taking advantage of the unrest.  They realize that the police will not interfere because a) they've lost interest, or b) they will be turned on by the media if they do, so the vandals are in hog heaven.

The two worst things on earth are : Terrorists of any kind and Activists for any cause.
