See Nigel Farage's reports on Youtube.  Far from being released into the community, these illegal immigrants are being put up in 4 star hotels around the country at taxpayers' expense (Serco has been given a £Multimillion contract for this), being fed and watered, given medical and dental treatment and a cash allowance every week. These illegals have their asylum claims heard but, even if the claim is rejected, they aren't being deported. You have to wonder what the government thinks it is doing.

Think the hotels were part of the Covid policy to isolate rough sleepers.   Well their are millions of folk out there, who lent the Tories their votes, thinking they would sort this nonsense out,  but it seems they're as woke as the rest;  so I guess it will be up to Nigel to deliver at the next election.

Defence chiefs are considering a request from the Home Office for help to deal with migrants attempting to cross the English Channel.

The Home Office said it was possible the Royal Navy could be brought in to patrol the migrant traffic.

The Australians had the right idea when confronted with droves of vietnameses refugees a few years ago

Just deploy the navy and get every single boat and tow it to a camp on a remote island until they were sent home.

Word soon spread

The government has considered building an asylum processing centre on a remote UK territory in the Atlantic Ocean.

The idea of "offshoring" people is being looked at but finding a suitable location would be key, a source said.

Seems the MOD are contesting the use of the RN in preventing migrants channel crossings,  they say the UKBF has the job.   But the UKBF are clearly not up to the job.  Is there no chain of command in Government anymore ?   😠

In retrospect, it seems the UKBF have been prisoners of Maritime Law - which I believe compels any "rescues" within your own territorial waters to be taken to your shores, (sure Asp can advise).  In which case, any obligatory asylum hearings need to be fast tracked to provide for 48hr deportations. ( HMG can change the law accordingly).  However, the real villains are the French, who choose to allow camps to exist, full of economic migrants with no intention of seeking asylum in France, contrary to the Dublin Treaty, and when asked by the UK to round them up, they demand £65 million from the UK to do it.  😠

Legally it is incumbent on the rescue vessel to deliver the rescued to "a place of safety". I should imagine that the Captain of the rescue vessel, if faced with threats by those rescued to throw themselves overboard and drown themselves unless they're taken to the UK, will do as asked if he doesn't want to face the possibility criminal charges. Shipmasters have long been faced with this dilemma with stowaways. This situation is just another example of "damned if you do and damned if you don't".

Frankly, I'm surprised we haven't seen the emergence of a vigilante Navy, both in the Channel and off Libya, prepared to physically prevent this invasion.  At Nurembourg the lawyers tried to prosecute Admiral Durnitz, for ordering his U-boat Captains not to pick up survivors of the ships they sank, which was contrary to Maritime Law.   A witness for the defence was none other than US Admiral Nimitz, who told the Court that he had issued a similar order to his submarine Commanders in the Pacific.  Next to politicians, Lawyers must be the lowest creatures on the planet.   😠

The Mayor of Calais,  who has tolerated her Town being overrun by migrant camps for years,  has criticised Boris for threatening to use the RN to fend off her rejects.  The French and indeed the EU, could sort this overnight, by enforcing the Dublin Treaty requiring migrants to seek asylum in the first Country in which they land;  failure to apply for asylum should then result in immediate deportation to Country of origin.  So all these poor and desperate refugees, with the money to pay $thousands to trafickers,  80% of whom are males of military age -  will grasp the understanding that in this world, you can't have everything you want, merely because you want it.       😠       Meanwhile,   Boris is threatening to quarantine folk arriving from France;  having allowed over 4,000 who have illegally arrive in rubber boats.   😷

Well Priti is flying another 19 illegal migrants back to France and Germany - just leaves another 3,900 of this year's batch to go.   The woke liberal lawyers and media are protesting of course, trying to use the pandemic as an excuse for not deporting them; perhaps if they used the same excuse for preventing them landing in the UK, we wouldn't have a problem.  Time the EU Countries in their turn, started to deport all those illegal entrants that are being allowed to roam their Countries en route to Calais.    😠

Seems Priti will have to press the accelerator on deportations, as the EU will not accept them back after Dec 31st 2020;   so it's a case of deporting the lot (4,000 plus) before then or sorting out arrangements and laws, to deport them all back to their Country of origin, from an address near you.  😠

Well we have notice .No excuse to say we didn't know. Get all those empty cruise ships on the move and start utilising them.

But the EU Countries aren't doing anything to stop them landing in Greece, Italy or Spain; so they'll just walk to Calais again and hop on a rubber boat.   WE,  have to take responsibility for protecting OUR borders, and imo that means not allowing them to land here, and those that do, to drive them back through the channel tunnel.  Post 2020,  deport them to their Countries of origin by plane.   Meanwhile, Parliament need to review all legislation being used by the HR lawyers to confound deportations.  It's time this joke ended and HMG got a grip.   😠

But I suppose with covid the issue was sidelined ,It was after all relatively quiet  until this recent influx.

But now it's time for someone to make a name for themselves and take the bull by the horns before the end of December.

The French and EU have a lot to answer for :   the Sudanese boy who recently drowned off Calais, had apparently done the right thing, by applying for asylum in France.  However, he was refused asylum in France, which then begs the question, why didn't the French deport him back to Sudan ?    These illegal entrants into Europe are being allowed to wonder round, sleeping rough, building camps,  by a range of gutless Governments, who haven't the bottle to do the right thing.  😠
