Labour retained Halton by quite a sizeable majority which meant that many of the high percentage of Leavers from the 2016 referendum must have voted labour. Just wandering why they chose to do that. asperity Posted December 13, 2019 Report Share Posted December 13, 2019 Well really Halton is more like the other constituencies to the west like the Liverpool and Wirral ones. Warrington is historically a Labour seat with occasional forays into Conservatism, Brexit and the performance of our last MP probably tipping the balance this time.
