Chinese Restaurant - recommendation

My son wants to have a Chinese banquet for his 30th Birthday - can anyone suggest somewhere  good? - we will be checking reviews to make sure that it's not a dodgy one  in or near to Warrington.

100% Mr Lau's (just off Sankey Street near the Town Hall).  Absolutely FAB and can't fault the place one tiny bit.  The owners and staff are so lovely and food/service is amazing.
We went at xmas and were very impressed by it.  We then went for our sons birthday in March and because they knew it was his birthday they made it extra special....my dad was so impressed all round (now that is hard to do)  that we are taking him there next month too for his birthday.

Downstairs they have Emily's Cocktail Bar....gorgeous in there but make sure you book a table  for after your meal if you want to go in there cos it's very popular but they only allow so many into the cocktail bar at a time ( keeps it pleasant rather than over crowded ).

Damn...I want to go there right now...I'm drooling at the thought lol

There is a  very good one right in the centre of St Helens ,called i think the Chinese Buffet.
