observer
This latest gem is so outrageously naïve, that it's difficult to believe :- (according to Teletext) - The IS suicide bomber who recently bought his ticket to Paradise in Mosul was "British". BUT: he had form: seems he was caught by the Yanks in Afghanistan and imprisoned in Guantanamo. Following a campaign by bleeding heart UK HR lawyers, he was released, returning to the UK to sue HMG for one £ million, for MI5s alleged involvement in his capture and incarceration. So flush with a £million of UK taxpayer's money, he then went to join IS in Syria, where he is now literally in bits.

asperity
The money was paid out in 2010 after the election so, technically, by the coalition government. smoke and mirrors.
