But to add to the confusion, Hillary supported the cruise missile strike too !   As for the Ivanka report, it was ascribed to her husband. And apparently the BBC have saw fit not to publish this story, perhaps it's toooo scary !   It could of course be "fake news" supplied by Russian hackers !

No Asp: it depends who's saying it. EG: if the White House Press Spokesman says it, it's fact. Like Hitler didn't use chemical weapons - it's a fact. But from anyone else, it's opinion !

In that case Obs you should preface it with "In my opinion........." otherwise you leave yourself open to charges of slander.

Seems the Yanks have just dropped the biggest non-nuclear bomb on an ISIS cave complex in Afghanistan; wonder if they checked that there were no women and kids in it first ?    Ooops forgot;  high explosive is OK, it's just chemicals that are bad.

I believe the thinking behind dropping one huge bomb rather than loads of smaller ones is that it is less likely to cause "collateral damage" (hitting people you didn't mean to).

Well, the US General said that they've found no signs of women or children, which assumes they've sieved through the wreckage and pieced together the bits and pieces. Alas this was after the event, which suggests they had no idea who was in the cave system BEFORE dropping the bomb. The Yanks are continuing to promulgate the myth, that precision weapons are so precise, that they can distinguish between the good guys and the bad guys before they explode. A standard tactic of ISIS and other terror groups, is to use "innocent" civilians as human shields, precisely to catch out such attackers in their propaganda war. Something they evidently did in the case of the alleged chemical strike by Assad, when their own stockpiles were hit..
