World War 111

   Sorry Baz, too late for walls, they're already amongst us. The idea that taking out command and control points in Raqqa, presumes that ISIL cells are not now active throughout the world, making this Syria bombing debate a nonsense in terms of defence of the UK. Dave has form on this, we bombed the Dictator of Libya out of power, only to leave a vacuum, now fought over by Sectarian factions, including ISIL. As I said, this is a set up, in preparation for an eventual attack on Assad and possible conflict with Russia. Call me Dave is doing a "charge of the light Brigade".  As for oil, ISIL is making money, selling it through Turkey !  8)

As for oil and gas in Syria, Russia is there to protect its market in Europe, especially for gas.  Sanctions and the record low crude prices have battered their economy.  Plans were afoot, and still are , for the exploitation of oil and gas fields off Syria as well as a proposed gas pipeline from Qatar to the Med across Syria.  It's all very complex and messed up.  Here is a link to a very lengthy report that is worth a read if you have the patience.

I just read the awful news from San Bernadino, American homegrown terrorists are suspected of carrying out a mass murder with guns.  Will we now vote on whether to go bomb America?

I think you'll find it is just another nut job yank with a gun who was pissed off at his employers during some party.... Americans and guns just don't mix at party's it would seem

I would say that anyone taking a gun and randomly murdering innocent people could fairly be described as a terrorist

Maybe fairly, but sadly incorrectly, the dictionary definition of terrorism is "the unofficial or unauthorized use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims" so unless said nut job yank had some form of political agenda which is yet to come to light; a terrorist he/she certainly isn't

Behave Baz . Also perhaps Corbyn does like America????  There isn't a political leader in Britain for years who hasn't negotiated with former IRA members, even worse, we trade arms and welcome in far worse regime representatives than Sinn Fein, one in particular has beheaded far more people than ISIL.
