Davy51
Can anyone tell me if there are different levels of Crown Court ? I ask because i was reading an article in the Guardian about a man from Warrington who has appeared at Liverpool CC today & pleaded guilty to murder but is to be sentenced at Preston next week. Why is Warrington CC not in the equation, & is it limited in its powers & what cases it can hear?
Coffee
There are different levels of judges master judges, district, circuit, recorders. Moving of the case is likely due to staff or court availability.
