Dizzy
Does anyone know of any current or future displays (or anything) that's on in Warrington marking WW1 and it's centenary etc ? The museum had one on but seems I've missed it as it ended in January Is the room that was re-named in the Town Hall open to visitors and does that contain any info or displays about Warrington people's part in the war years etc ? Evil Sid
Not heard of anything that is on or has been planned since the election fever took over. as for the room in the town hall. the answer would probably be no to all parts of the question. Our council do not want the unwashed wandering about and making the town hall look untidy (and possibly finding out what they really do all day in that place.) Horace
Warrington's response to the WW1 commemorations has been very poor, from what I have seen, compared to Frodsham - which is a much, much smaller place.
