observer
Seems John Major has criticised the dominance of a public school educated elite at the top of our social tree - but will it ever change?

observer
Seems we're not the only ones: a report on the tragedy in the Philippines; explained the high casualty rate amongst the poorest in that Country, was due to flimsy nature of their shanty towns. The top 10% of the population, own 30% of the wealth, and live in well built concrete housing, that was evidently sufficient to weather the typhoon. P J
I wish our top 10% only owned 30% of our wealth.
