Dizzy
Albert to Bertie... fair enough just a shortened tweaked name... But I never knew until today that Prince Harry isn't called Harry at all..... he's Prince Henry ie 'Henry Charles Albert David'. Where did Harry come from then as surely that derives from the name Harold. Blimey Little George might become Tyler after all With an uncle like Harry the new little prince is bound to have some fun as he grows up
Cleopatra
Harry is a familiar name for Henry.
fugtifino
Yes it is. All this multiple name malarkey can make life unnecessarily complicated though. None of the family on my mum's side are referred to by the first name (all names of saints btw) that appears on their birth certificate (apart from me, but only after dogged insistence), which is a bit silly. Causes all kinds of problems when it comes to any kind of official form filling. Youngfug has a first name and a second name. That's it. Sim, as the saying goes, ples. observer
Perhaps a few chav names would have helped relate the sprog to his future subjects?
asperity
They've missed the chance to have a future King Kevin. How disappointing!!!
