fugtifino
There is no such thing as a scientific concensus you know. Yes there is: http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/climate-consensus-97-per-cent/2013/may/16/climate-change-scienceofclimatechange
asperity
No there isn't. There can be a general agreement amongst scientists that a theory is correct, but it is still only a theory until proven. There has been no proof of AGW to date. After all at one time all scientists believed that the sun orbited the earth, until they were proven wrong. So far all we have is theory based on computer climate models which are being shown to be hopelessly wrong because none of their predictions have come to fruition. Our own Met Office with sophisticated computers is unable to predict weather more than a few weeks in advance. Only a couple of months ago the forecast another cool, wet summer! fugtifino
There can be a general agreement amongst scientists that a theory is correct... "Concensus" is defined by Merriam-Webster as, first, general agreement,... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consensus_decision-making You can knock yourself out splitting hairs over semantics if you want, but my link in post #26 looks like a concensus to me. asperity
Well if you want to go down that route there is also a concensus amongst scientists who don't believe in the AGW myth, so are you now going to say that your concensus is bigger than mine? The stuff of primary school playgrounds.
fugtifino
Please yourself asp, I can't be bothered. You said earlier there was no such thing as a scientific consensus and now you're agreeing that there is. Btw, got a link?

fugtifino
Well, that may hold for you, but I'd prefer to believe the one I find has the most integrity. Given the comments following the article in your link, I know which one I find most credible.
