Cheers Diz, I know you are joking, but both you and alg seem to have some initial doubts, can't think why.

Watching "The One Show" from Tyneside last night and it appears that companies are openly placing job advertisments in Polish etc in local newspapers, surely that must be contravening equal opportunity laws,

(Oops! are we going to be in trouble with 'plod's' censorship department again. perhaps we could have a list of unacceptable phrases so we know how far we can go in expressing our opinions, eg. a 'traveller' may only be described as a 'Gypsy' when he is a 'Gypsy' that is actually travelling along the highway' a group of people of Irish nationality towing caravans behind transit vans may also be called 'travellers' if they are also travelling along the highway, however when that group of people stop travelling they should be refered to as 'caravaners' or 'holiday makers' and not refered to as 'Gypsies') :unsure:

Algy.... just put <> around everything.... that's accepted apparently. That way we all know what you really mean.

<travellers>

<Policemen>

<Taxman>

<Politicians>

<Forum Admin & Moderators> :P

as you can see... the above look perfectly acceptable but of course the real meaning is completely different and derogatory!! :lol:

Think that's the trend for humanity nowadays Asp; around 50% of the world's population now live in urban enviroments. But the main impact of immigration on host societies, is the effect on services; increased populations require increased housing, medical and educational resources for example; and this is now evident in the UK where we won't have enough primary school places in the next few years.
