algy
Be warned some may find this video distressing as there were seven crew members who died in this terrible accident, a Boeing 747-400 transport aircraft owned by national Air cargo crashed after take off at Bagram airfield, Afghanistan 29/04/2013. First reports indicated that the either the it was affected by turbulence or the load had shifted making the aircraft tail heavy and unstable. STRONG LANGUAGE MAY BE HEARD, TURN OFF THE AUDIO AS IT REALLY IS NOT NECESSARY TO THE VIDEO. J5gzm0kt4OU
Bazj
saw it the day it came out and it is very graphic in terms of air crash videos; but amazing footage none the less.... it obviously stalled and lost lift and there was only ever going to be one outcome after that
middlec
I believe the cargo was possibly military equipment, perhaps even vehicles. If so, an investigation may well find that the cargo became insecure and when it shifted the centre of gravity altered dramatically, and very quickly. In those circumstances immediately after lift off there is little the crew could have done to control the aircraft. Possibly little could have been done to rescue the situation at any altitude. A terrible accident.
