Rockcutting
Across the town at the Hospital where Nurses patrol the dim lit wards an old man dies, sighs breathes his very last on his very last night, not far away on another Ward a new child is born and the Mother and the Father hold him tight and give thanks to god in the middle of the night. Rocky, is this a real poem or one of your obscure jokes where we have to guess the punch line,
Rockcutting
No this is a real poem, nothing to do with Elvis (in the ghetto) and everytime I try to recite it my children say "Stop there Dad", they don't like it but I love it. Can't find the full transcript but it always makes me cry.
