muttzy
Took the kids to see this last week.A much darker version than the original 'Willy Wonka' film due to Tim Burton's direction - and a much better film in my opinion .The kids sat through it too, always the acid test. dippy_jayne
I was not so impressed. What happened to the magic lemonade that lead them to the fan! The pure imagination wasnt in this flick. Give me the original anyday! Jayne

alana
I am with you dippy Jane saw this lst weekend... none of us were really impressed from the 14 yr old child to the 52 year old child. Though Depp did a good job in the role given. Rather have the original version...missed the umpah song
sadako
I know that Tim Burton wanted to stick to the book...was the magic lemonade in the book??? last time I read it was when I was 6. I can't remember I liked both versions but they are hard to compare because they are so different.
