Unless there were third party witnesses, DNA or other "evidence" - these situations remain one persons word against another. Criminal prosecutions carry the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. In the case of a defendant corpse, the trial would tend to be rather one sided !

The beeb has reported this stuoid remark

"A prominent barrister specialising in reproductive rights has called for the age of consent to be lowered to 13.

Barbara Hewson told online magazine Spiked that the move was necessary in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal to end the "persecution of old men"..."

Why not do away with the whole concept of consent as well , Babs, then all the rapists can carry on without the risk of  "persecution".

More cases of abuse come to light, Emu, Spitt the dog and Orville have all made accusations of sexual abuse. Keith Harris is reported to have said " I never new Orville had it in him". Emu has been quoted as saying "Rod by name and Rod by nature", he may face countercharges of pushing Rod off the roof!.
