Dizzy
Apparently there has been a serious accident near LA Bowl resulting in road closure, air ambulance etc. A574 Cromwell Avenue Westbound is closed with queueing traffic due to serious accident between A49 Winwick Road / Sandy Lane West and Calver Road, Congestion on A50 Long Lane to A49 Winwick Road and Hawley's Lane and also on M62 to J9 A49 (Winwick). Traffic towards the Gemini Retail Park is also affected. The Eastbound side has apparently re-opened. I hope the people involved are going to be ok and that's the second serious accident on Warrington roads in as many days. Sadly the the gent in the Birchwood Way collision died

Coffee
I was caught in the traffic congestion that followed the crash which was caused mainly by the other side of the road from the accident being shut to allow the helicopter to land. Reading the Guardian the guy had leg injuries so wonder why the helicopter was called in? Wishing the driver a speedy recovery. Anyone recognizes the make of the car? Cleopatra
Maybe because he couldn't walk to the hospital and anyway it's always quicker as the crow flies so maybe time was of the essence. Apologies for seeming so frivilous but I seemed to have wakened on a high this morning.
